The Best of both Worlds

Life hits us all differently. It could be written somewhere, it could be faith or it could just be our choices, but the fact of the matter is that we all have different thoughts, we all see things differently, we all react differently to some situations or occurrences. Also some of us are fortunate enough to not to go through some of the things some people go through.

For some of us growing up starts at an age where all we want to do is be kids, but life has other plans for us. I know some people who had to bring bread to the table before their teens & I know other people who are in their late 20's and they still depend on other people. There is a huge difference between people who matured at a young age and those who are still trying. These individuals who matured at a young age, faced a tough reality, they were the ones who were given the responsibility to do so, they most likely didn’t have a choice, they had to do what they had to do in order to survive, they were brought to a world in which they had to fight for themselves and others around them, such as family and friends. In the other hand those who still depend on others were brought up in a silver spoon, they never needed to get out of their way or their comfort zone to get the things they need, all the have to do is ask for it and it will be given.

There’s another group of individuals, and this group is the most gifted of them all. These group of people were brought up in a golden spoon, they had everything they needed and everything they ever wanted. But they have something, they have something no other group has. They are able to learn from those who have it all and those who have nothing. They are able to see other people’s struggles and learn from them, they are able to get in everyone’s shoes and see their situation through their eyes. In addition, they are also able to see and learn from those who have it all, but they do not see what they have, they want to see how they got it. They want to see where they got it all from and how. These individuals are able to connect intellectually with anyone they meet. They have a greater understanding of life and everything around it.
